Dr. Leah vanRossum was born and raised in a small town in Nova Scotia. She graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College and drove across Canada with her partner and very unenthusiastic cat Lexi.
In her spare time, Dr. Leah (let’s just forget that tricky last name) enjoys hiking, kayaking, and snowboarding; and she considers Vancouver Island to be a (warm) little slice of heaven.
She has a keen interest in surgery and animal behaviour, and is currently working towards her level 3 Fear Free certification so she can provide positive, stress free visits for all her furry patients.
